At Nintendo’s latest conferences held throughout the world they have announced that Super Mario Galaxy is to be launched May 23, 2010! Here’s the press mumbo jumbo!
“The sequel to the smash-hit galaxy-hopping original game, launches May 23 for the Wii™ console. The game includes the amazing gravity-defying, physics-based exploration from the first game, but is loaded with entirely new galaxies and features to challenge and delight players. On some stages, Mario™ can pair up with his dinosaur buddy Yoshi™ and use his tongue to grab items and spit them back at enemies. New Super Mario Bros Wii
Nintendo has now created a beloved favorite. Super Mario Brothers but for the WII! Now our all time favorite Mario game is bigger, better, and badder! The game has an abundance of new features including cooperative and competitive play, and new items. Players can play single or invite friends at any point of the game to help them or hinder them! Group up and fight together or fight against each other for the prize! Featuring four main players: Mario, Luigi, and two toads to choose from. All other characters will make appearances throughout the game and players can choose to ride several different Yoshi characters while using their classic abilities: swallowing enemies, items, and even balls of fire. 
SWEET! Some situations call for motion control of the Wii remote such as tilting a seesaw to help or hinder friends up a platform. Mario has a new capability by turning into a penguin and becoming Penguin Mario!! I’m not quite sure what use a penguin is but I’m sure there is some reason…..anyways! Moving on to NEW ITEMS! A special new item, the propeller suit, enables players to shoot high into the sky just by a slight shake of the Wii remote. At the end of each stage is a coin battle multi-player mode where players are ranked by the number of coins they collected during the battle. So what are you waiting for!?? Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story
In another attempt to have the mushroom Kingdom in his grasps Bowser gets tricked into eating a magic mushroom that causes him to inhale the whole Mushroom Kingdom! Now Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach are trapped inside Bowser; thus another adventure to save Peach and the Mushroom Kingdom begins!

A one player action role playing game; You control two story lines! Micro-sized Mario and Luigi must make it through a series of challenges inside Bowser by controlling him without his knowledge to find a way out! Meanwhile Bowser is fighting his own arch enemy to defend his castle. It’s up to Mario and Luigi to control Bowser, through a series of puzzles, from the inside and the outside to help him and themselves! Players are able to switch from story lines at will from the outside of Bowser to the inside of Bowser. With accurate timing YOU must help Bowser battle his arch enemy and work your way out of his insides! The more accurate you are the more advanced your characters get! But be careful because in some battles Bowser can grow so large that you may have to turn your DS sideways, blow in the microphone, or tap on the screen to keep up with the battle and control Bowser’s new gained powers!

Wii Sports Outsells Mario
That was quick! Wii Sports has outsold Super Mario Bros. for the NES. Wii Sports had sold 40.24 million copies by the end of December 2008. Of course, it cheated by being bundled with the Nintendo Wii in nearly all countries the console has been sold in other than Japan and South Korea. It took Wii Sports 110 weeks to oust everyones favorite plumber. Thanks VGChartz.

In preparation for the Aug. 25 release of Mario Super Sluggers for the Wii console, Nintendo will be giving fans and players an interactive boost at the 2008 Cal Ripken World Series, the season’s most anticipated baseball tournament for 11- and 12-year-olds. Featuring a roster of champion youth-league teams from across the United States and around the globe, the event will take place Aug. 8-16 at the prestigious Ripken Academy in Aberdeen, Md., where young players will compete on professional-quality diamonds in front of thousands of enthusiastic baseball fans.
Throughout this exciting series, players and fans are invited to experience Mario Super Sluggers, Nintendo’s new Mario-themed baseball game designed exclusively for the Wii console. Interactive kiosks will be placed in the park’s batting cages, where attendees can try out the game’s imaginative baseball action and unique motion-sensing controls, swinging the wireless Wii Remote controller like an actual bat. Anyone who samples the game will be entered into a drawing to win a free copy of Mario Super Sluggers.

Mario Kart Wii First Impressions
I just got finished playing Mario Kart Wii for the first time minutes ago. I played a round of single player and a multiplayer race with my little sister and I have to say the game is fun. I still haven’t figured out the automatic boost feature so I have stuck with manual ol’ fashioned hop boosting most of the time I played.
We attempted to connect for some regional and world wide wifi play to no avail. Not sure why but we got disconnected from the races both times. Gave up after that and decided to go team up against the computer.
I recommend you pick up the game and get to racing. It’s a lot of fun! The tilt controls will take a little getting used to though so don’t expect to be a pro right off the bat.
