Hey guys, you may or may not have noticed that the website was down yesterday afternoon through the night. This was because we were in the process of changing hosts. We are now hosted with GoDaddy and I must say this hosting has a snap that was non-existent while we were with Media Temple. Now that the website loads faster I may just update the website 10x more than before when I was getting depressed waiting 5-10 seconds for the wordpress admin interface to load. My cousin, her fiance and I are nearly finished with New Super Mario Bros. Wii once we’re done we’ll put together a spiffy review of the game for you. I can say from what we’ve played now that the game is amazing fun when you have people to play with.

Welcome to the Desert
Update: I have finished redesigning the forums too now! This is the first time I have completely overhauled the look of phpBB and it turned out fantastic!
Got bored today and decided to design a new theme for the site after I washed my car. It’s hot today so I themed the design around the desert and pyramids. I have not updated the forums yet but I am going to start working on that right now.
I discovered an awesome Nintendo news site called WiiFolder today. They have a bunch of sweet high definition videos of Wii games up right now that you should definitely check out. If you’ve been trying to find a new game to buy for the Wii their videos with commentary may be just what you need. The videos really give a great glimpse into what the games have to offer. Oh and no, I am not being paid to say this.

Games Database Updated
I have just added 3 new virtual console games to the Games section. I will be adding them daily until they are all in there. I always post full unaltered (no watermark) screenshots and artwork for you all to enjoy!
Games added today are the NEOGEO’s Art of Fighting, Nintendo 64’s 1080 Snowboarding, and NES’ Adventures of Lolo and Adventures of Lolo 2.
I will be attending Comic-con 2008 tomorrow and Friday this week so I wont be able to upload or post news until Saturday. Have a good end of week!
Please excuse the extended lack of news. Being the lone author here, I have been helping my family build an Alpaca ranch her in Southern California and have not had the time to update the website lately. Recently one of our members suggested that we post another review of a game on the site – hah imagine that, a review site reviewing games? Hence our latest poll asks what game you want us to review next? I currently do not own a Wii Fit and I am out of cash, so please don’t vote for that one

Late Morning Update
So I finally got my Nintendo Wii reconnected to the internet last night and it just so happened that WiiWare was launched that same night 
. Is it just me or do the games available on WiiWare not impress based on their descriptions? I am not sure if I want to fork over the cash to try these games out. It would be awesome if there were demos available to try first.
I also discovered the Nintendo channel! Guess I’ve been living under a rock for a while since my Wii hasn’t been hooked up for a bit. They have a cool interview with Miyamoto on there. I hope they do more of the same, it’s great to hear what that man has to say.
What are your thoughts on the WiiWare launch line-up?
I’ve got my eyes on the Wii Fit, what about you guys?

You may have noticed a new icon appear on the left sidebar today.
This is our new donation button. Currently we are paying to host the website out of our own pockets every month and we are not exactly high rollers, just a group of college and high school students. So if you are so inclined, please drop us a dime! Once the income surpasses hosting costs any extra money will be disbursed among the active editors of the site.
