Amazon.com now has the new black Nintendo Wii that comes with Wii Sports and Wii Sports: Resort in stock.
A great value in video games is about to get even better. Starting May 9, Nintendo will add new elements to the baseline Wii™ system package offered at retailers throughout the Americas. In addition to the intuitive, motion-sensing Wii Remote™ controller, Nunchuk™ controller and popular Wii Sports™ game that currently comes standard with each system purchase, every new unit will now also come packaged with Wii Sports Resort™ and the control-enhancing Wii MotionPlus™ accessory. In addition, consumers will be able to choose between two color schemes for the Wii console and included controllers: original white, or a new black option. The U.S. suggested retail price of the new system package will remain at $199.99. Pricing outside the United States will be established by the local markets, but offer similar consumer value.
All new Nintendo Wii’s including the new black Nintendo Wii will now be bundled with Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, the Wii Motion Plus and Nun-chuck and the price will remain at $199.
Nintendo released an updated release schedule and Metroid: Other M has been delayed from June 27th to August 31st. Sin and Punishment: Star Successor has also been delayed from June 7th to June 27th.
Nintendo has released the new Nintendo Wii Classic Controller Pro in the United States. You can either buy the controllers by themselves for a suggested price of $19.99 or buy the Classic Controller Pro bundled with Monster Hunter 3.

Satoru Iwata has just announed the Nintendo 3DS portable console. The console will allow you to play games in 3D without the need for 3D glasses. The 3DS will be the official successor to the Nintendo DS, DS-i, and DS-i XL consoles. More details will be revealed on June 15th at the E3 Expo. source [nintendo.co.jp]

Nintendo has partnered with Tecmo Koei to publish their latest installment to the Samurai Warriors game series exclusively on the Nintendo Wii. I personally have never played a Samurai Warriors game but if it’s good enough for Nintendo to seek exclusivity it might be something worth looking into! Here is the official pr:

Launching in North America in fall 2010, Samurai Warriors 3 is an evolution of the Warriors series, featuring an innovative new game mode and a completely fresh storyline.

Samurai Warriors 3 offers two-player online and offline co-op with enhanced sharing features. Capcom has announced the release date for Monster Hunter Tri as well as details about the game’s multiplayer. The game will optionally come bundled with the new Nintendo Wii Ninja Black Classic Controller. The game will be released on April 20, 2010 in the United States. 4-20 huh… If you haven’t already preordered your copy of the game you might want to get in on the $10 classic controller offer ASAP. I am almost as excited about this game as I am about the next Zelda Wii game. Well, maybe not… lol but you’ve got a nice attempt here MH3 devs!
